How to do it
Use Search and add a word or phrase. Narrow by server, channel, author, date, mentions or whether a message has an attachment, image or link. Open a result to return to its conversation.

Keep in mind
Search respects channel access; it does not expose private DMs or restricted rooms you cannot read. Try a shorter term, remove filters or check a date range if nothing appears. Deleted messages and lost channel access can explain a missing result.
