Set up push-to-talk
How to do it
In voice settings select push-to-talk instead of voice activity. Assign a key in keybinds that does not conflict with your game, then hold it during a test call and release to stop speaking.

Keep in mind
Check whether the shortcut works while your game is focused. If not, use a different binding and report the app/game combination to support. Do not run software as administrator just to bypass a shortcut problem. A server mute or missing Speak permission still prevents speaking.
